The VACSAX ADVANCE STANDARD BORE LINER is an essential component of the VacSax Advance range, specifically designed for effective fluid management in hospital settings. This closed, disposable suction liner is particularly suited for use in operating theatres and various clinical departments, ensuring safe and hygienic collection of medical fluids.

• Compact and Efficient Design: The liner's unique patented bag design allows it to be folded for compact storage. It self-inflates immediately upon vacuum application, ensuring a perfect fit within the canister.

• Safety Mechanisms: Equipped with a hydrophobic bacterial shut-off valve integrated into the cap (excluding the cascade version), the liner provides reliable overflow protection and prevents contamination.

• Dual Port System: The liner features two ports with distinct dimensions to prevent cross-connection, enhancing safety during use.

• Convenient Handling: Integral carry handles facilitate safe removal from the canister, while the self-standing design of the bag when full aids in easier handling and disposal.

Antimicrobial Protection

All external surfaces of the liner and canister are treated with antimicrobial properties, significantly reducing the growth of harmful bacteria such as MRSA and E. coli. This protection is highly effective, achieving a 99.99% reduction over a few hours and providing permanent protection after 24 hours.

Additional Options

Some versions of the liner come with a pre-measured amount of PreGel, enhancing convenience. Each liner is supplied with a lid for secure closure post-use, and all liners are intended for single use only, with a reminder to check the use-by date before deployment.

• 2 Litre: Available in boxes of 30.
• 3 Litre: Available in boxes of 20.

The 2 Litre version features a standard bore size of 8.5mm (green) and is compatible with the HIFLO2 High Suction Machine Pump, as well as various canisters and accessories from the VacSax Advance range.

Instructions for Use

To use, place the liner in a compatible canister and connect the vacuum and patient tubing to the appropriate ports. Ensure proper inflation and suction before proceeding. After use, remove the liner using the carry handles and dispose of it according to hospital protocols.
