Intended Use
These stockings are intended for use in hospitals and medical facilities, providing physical thrombosis prophylaxis and aiding in the prevention and therapy of post-operative and post-traumatic oedema. Their design ensures a snug fit, crucial for effective compression therapy, while the antimicrobial treatment helps maintain skin health.
Application Guidelines
To ensure optimal performance, the heel of the stocking should align with the user's heel, and the stocking should be free of wrinkles. The top of the stocking should sit two fingers' width below the kneecap. If necessary, a compression stocking applicator should be used, and the correct size should be selected.
Care Instructions
Stockings should generally be removed before bed unless advised otherwise by clinical staff. Regular checks of the skin under the stocking are recommended to prevent damage. The stockings should be washed every three days or when soiled, using mild soap and air drying flat. They should not be wrung, twisted, tumble dried, or ironed. Replacement is advised after six months or sooner if the stockings become too loose, too tight, or show signs of wear such as holes or fraying.
Material Composition
Crafted from medical-grade fabric with UltraFresh antimicrobial treatment and featuring a silicone Safety Sole, these stockings are tailored for use in hospitals, surgical care, and other medical settings where thrombosis prophylaxis is required.
