Description
Steri-Tamp® tamper-evident sterile seals offer a robust solution for safeguarding the integrity of medication containers in healthcare settings. Designed for use with IV bags, vials, and syringes, these seals provide a 100% sterile barrier while clearly indicating any tampering, thus preventing contamination and accidental double dosing.
Key Features
- Patented Dual-Layer Design: The innovative design reveals a printed 'OPENED' warning upon removal of the top foil layer, ensuring that the seal cannot be reapplied.
- Strong Adhesion: With an adhesive strength three times greater than leading competitors, these seals maintain their bond even in refrigerated or frozen conditions down to –20°C.
- Color Coding: Available in various colors, including a gold/yellow "CHEMO" label, to help identify medication types and enhance safety for healthcare workers.

Material and Sterilization
Crafted from premium medical-grade foil with a lint-free plastic liner, these seals are gamma-sterilized to ensure sterility. They are compliant with USP <797> and USP <800> standards, with sterility validated through rigorous testing under FDA-approved protocols.
Packaging
Each variant is supplied in rolls of 1,000 seals, housed in wipeable, fully enclosed plastic dispenser boxes for convenient handling.
Application Instructions
- Remove the seal from the liner.
- Align and apply over the desired opening.
- Press and twist to secure the bond.
- Upon removal, the top layer detaches, leaving a visible 'OPENED' warning.
Intended Use
These seals are designed for single use and should be applied by trained medical professionals at room temperature. While they significantly enhance security, they do not replace standard hospital procedures or guarantee medication sterility. Their use is intended to complement existing protocols, providing an additional layer of protection against tampering and contamination.
