Nutricia Souvenaid Liquid (Vanilla) is a ready-to-drink Food for Special Medical Purpose for the dietary management of early Alzheimer’s disease, including mild cognitive impairment (MCI). It is intended to nutritionally support memory function by supporting synapse (brain connection) formation. Use in addition to the normal diet, under medical supervision. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition and not for intravenous use. Vanilla flavour in a 125 mL single-serve bottle; best served chilled. Shake well before use. Oral use only.

Fortasyn Connect nutrient system

• Unique blend including omega-3 fatty acids (DHA 1200 mg; EPA 300 mg), uridine 5′-monophosphate (625 mg), choline (400 mg), phospholipids, B vitamins (e.g., B6, B12, folate), antioxidants (vitamins C and E), and selenium.

Directions for use

• Take one 125 mL bottle once daily, ideally at the same time each day.
• Effects are not immediate; at least 6 months of daily use is typically needed to achieve potential benefit.
• If a dose is missed, take when remembered. Recommended to drink the entire bottle at once (from the bottle, via a straw, or poured into a glass).

Safety and compatibility

• Shown to be safe and well tolerated when used alone or with common Alzheimer’s disease medications. Consult a healthcare professional before starting or when adding new medications.
• Does not cure or alleviate Alzheimer’s disease.

• Contains milk proteins, fish oil, and soy; not suitable for individuals with related allergies.
• Not suitable for people with galactosaemia.
• Free from gluten-containing ingredients (<20 mg/kg); low lactose (<300 mg/kg).
• Low glycaemic index; GI ~50 (Vanilla). Contains carbohydrates; people with diabetes can consume but should monitor blood glucose with their care team.

Storage and handling

• Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, close, refrigerate, and consume within 24 hours.
