Designed for those with a stoma that is flush with the skin, retracted, or located in skin folds, this base plate offers a shallow convexity that applies gentle, directed pressure to the peristomal skin. This design helps the stoma protrude, thereby reducing the risk of leakage.

• Two-Piece System: The base plate is part of a two-piece system, allowing the pouch to be securely attached with a reassuring audible 'click'. This mechanical coupling system enables the pouch to be rotated into the desired position before locking and allows for frequent changes without removing the adhesive base plate.

• Double-Layer Adhesive: The base plate features a double-layer adhesive with a protection layer that shields the skin from stoma output and a skin care layer that absorbs excess moisture to maintain skin health.

• Flexible Fit: Its curved, convex shape and integrated flexlines provide a secure fit to uneven or deep-seated skin areas, while the elastic adhesive adapts to body movements for enhanced comfort.

Material and Design

Crafted from soft textile material, the base plate is designed for comfort and discretion. It offers low friction under clothing and is water-repellent, ensuring it does not retain moisture after showering. Belt tabs on either side provide additional security if needed.

Available Options

The base plate comes in different types, either flat or convex, with cut-to-fit and pre-cut hole sizes. Coupling diameters are available in 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm, and they are packaged in boxes of five.

Application Guidance

To apply, cut the hole to fit the stoma if necessary, remove the protective film, and press the base plate firmly against the skin. Removal is straightforward by gently pulling the bag away while applying light pressure to the skin.
