The ResQSheet Rescue Sheet is an essential emergency evacuation device designed specifically for non-ambulant patients. It provides a practical solution for carers in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other care environments, enabling the rapid and safe evacuation of patients directly from their beds during emergencies.

Key Features

• Discrete Installation: The ResQSheet is discreetly installed under the mattress using strong elastic corner straps, making it compatible with Single and King Single size beds. It fits seamlessly with most airflow mattresses, ensuring it remains unobtrusive until needed.

• Secure Evacuation: During an emergency, the device allows the patient to remain on the mattress, providing added protection. It features robust cross straps and plastic buckles made from Delrin®, which secure the patient and mattress together, allowing for safe movement, including down stairs.

• Miracle Grip Sides: These rubberized sides prevent slippage, ensuring stability during evacuation. The built-in plastic slide board enhances maneuverability on carpet and vinyl surfaces.

Operation

The ResQSheet is equipped with strategically placed pulling straps, enabling multiple rescuers to assist in the evacuation process. Optional extension straps can be used to accommodate more rescuers or adjust towing positions, particularly useful for heavier or bariatric patients.

Safety Specifications

• Safe Working Load: The standard version supports up to 300kg (660lbs), with a bariatric version available for up to 450kg (992lbs). It is tested to standards akin to ISO 10535:2011, ensuring reliability.

• Training Recommended: Proper threading of buckles and manual handling techniques are advised for safe use. Regular inspection of buckles and webbing is recommended.

Care and Maintenance

The ResQSheet is machine washable up to 80°C and can be air or tumble dried on a cool setting, ensuring easy maintenance. Replacement buckles and extension straps are available as accessories.

Limitations

While highly versatile, the ResQSheet may not be suitable for some circular staircases or narrow doorways. Additional accessories might be required for certain bed types or patient sizes.
