Intended Use

Instructions for Use

• Insertion: Manually insert the needle at a 90-degree angle into the abdomen, thigh, or buttocks. Ensure the insertion site is clean using isopropyl alcohol.
• Connection: Connect the tubing to a filled insulin reservoir, avoiding any liquid entry into the tubing connector. Secure the adhesive pads firmly to the skin.
• Priming: Prime the set completely to eliminate air bubbles, and replace the infusion set and tubing every 24 to 48 hours or if contamination occurs.

Maintenance and Safety

• Site Monitoring: Regularly monitor the insertion site for signs of infection or irritation. Rotate sites to prevent lipodystrophy and maintain hygiene during handling.
• Replacement: If insulin or other fluids contact the connector, replace both the reservoir and infusion set. Avoid use if unusual priming behavior is observed.

Warnings

• Infusion Method: Not suitable for intravenous infusion or for use with blood products. Blocking of connector vents by fluid may lead to inaccurate insulin delivery.
