Description

Nutricia Nutrison is a nutritionally complete, ready-to-use, fibre‑free polymeric tube feeding formula designed for the dietary management of disease‑related malnutrition and for patients requiring a residue‑restricted diet. It provides 1.0 kcal/mL and can be used as a sole source of nutrition under medical supervision. For enteral use only (not for parenteral use).

A whey‑dominant P4 protein blend (whey, casein, pea, soy) supports balanced amino acid delivery. The formula is low in lactose (<0.025 g/100 mL), contains MCT for easier fat absorption, and provides long‑chain omega‑3s (DHA/EPA) from fish oil. It is fibre‑free (<0.1 g/100 mL) with an approximate osmolality of 305 mOsmol/kg H2O.

Indications and suitability

• Food for Special Medical Purposes; use under medical supervision.
• For disease‑related malnutrition and residue‑restricted diets; suitable as a sole source of nutrition when clinically indicated.
• Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia or cow’s milk protein allergy; use caution with seafood/fish allergy.

Directions for use and storage

• Shake well; use at room temperature; handle aseptically. Administration regimen per healthcare professional.

• Store unopened in a cool, dry place. Once opened, reclose, refrigerate, and discard unused contents after 24 h.
