Description

Nutricia Nutrini Energy is a ready-to-use, nutritionally complete paediatric enteral tube feed providing 1.5 kcal/mL (150 kcal/100 mL). It is fibre-free and very low in lactose (<0.025 g/100 mL). Designed for children aged 1–6 years or 8–20 kg, it can be used as a sole source of nutrition within this range for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition, faltering growth, or when a fibre-free regimen is required. For enteral use only and must be used under medical supervision.

Ingredients and allergens

• Ingredients: water; maltodextrin; vegetable oils (rapeseed/canola, sunflower); milk proteins (sodium caseinate, whey protein concentrate); fish oil; emulsifier (soy lecithin); mineral salts; vitamins; carotenoids (beta‑carotene, lutein, lycopene); choline chloride; taurine; L‑carnitine; acidity regulators.
• Allergens: contains milk, soy, and fish; use caution in children with seafood allergy.

Directions for use

• Use at room temperature; check appearance and shake well before use.
• Handle aseptically; do not dilute or add medications.
• Feeding regimen (rate and volume) to be determined by a healthcare professional.
• Hanging time: up to 24 hours when used as a closed system; if decanted/open system, up to 8 hours.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place.
• After opening, close and refrigerate; discard unused contents after 24 hours.
