Operation
The non-invasive screening process typically completes within 5 to 15 minutes. Sensors are attached to the infant’s nape and vertex, with earphones placed around the ears. The device emits soft clicking sounds to evaluate the hearing pathway from the ear to the brainstem. Results are displayed immediately and can be printed or exported, with automatic shutdown on low battery to protect data.
