Description
The JOBST COMPRI 2 Multi-Layer Regular Compression system is expertly designed to aid in the management of venous leg ulcers and the reduction of edema. This two-layer bandage system provides a sustained, graduated compression of 40 mmHg, making it suitable for patients with an Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) greater than 0.8. Its primary aim is to support rapid healing and alleviate venous hypertension, making it an ideal choice for both clinical and home care settings.
Key Features
-
Layer 1: The first layer is a non-woven, stretchable padding that offers excellent moisture management and skin comfort. It is designed to adjust anatomically and provide extra padding where needed. Its stretchable and tearable nature ensures easy application.
-
Layer 2: The second layer is a short stretch, cohesive elastic bandage equipped with a simple compression indicator to ensure correct application. This layer allows for easy re-adjustment and reapplication, enhancing usability.
Benefits
- Comfort and Compatibility: The less bulky design of the bandage system allows patients to wear regular footwear comfortably, promoting high mobility and comfort.
- Pain Management: It is engineered to reduce pain and facilitate atraumatic, pain-free dressing changes.
- Moisture Management: Keeps the skin dry and comfortable, enhancing overall patient satisfaction.
Application Guidance
The system includes directly accessible application guidance tools, such as QR codes on both bandages, providing instructional videos for proper application. This feature ensures that users can apply the bandages safely and effectively.
