PARI MucoClear 3% is a sterile hypertonic saline inhalation solution designed to help thin airway secretions and support mucociliary clearance in the upper and lower respiratory tract. It is suitable as part of a clinician-directed regimen where enhanced airway hydration and secretion mobilization are desired.

Directions for Use
- Instill the full contents of one 4 mL ampoule into the nebuliser chamber.
- Nebulise until no mist is produced; this typically takes about 10 minutes depending on device and flow.
- Typical nebuliser air flow: 4–6 L/min.
- Prepare a fresh ampoule for each treatment. Discard any remaining solution in the nebuliser bowl after use.
Dose and Frequency
- Dose per session: 4 mL (one full ampoule)
- Frequency: As directed by a healthcare professional; one ampoule per session, potentially up to several times daily if indicated.
Safety Information
- Risk of bronchospasm or airway irritation exists, particularly in sensitive patients and infants.
- The first dose should be supervised. Some patients may require pre-treatment with a short-acting bronchodilator (e.g., salbutamol).
- Stop treatment and seek clinical review if wheeze, paroxysmal cough, or shortness of breath occur.
