Overview

The Avanos MICROCUFF Paediatric Endotracheal Tube (ETT) is a cuffed airway device for neonatal and paediatric patients, available for oral or nasal intubation depending on the selected configuration. It incorporates a micro‑thin (~10 μm), strong polyurethane cuff engineered as a high‑volume, low‑pressure system to achieve an effective tracheal seal at low cuff pressures. The short, cylindrical cuff is positioned near the tube tip to promote cuff placement within the trachea and away from the larynx/cricoid structures.
