Description
A cuffed endotracheal tube designed for paediatric airway anatomy, the Avanos MICROCUFF Paediatric Endotracheal Tube is available in Oral/Nasal Magill and Oral Curved (RAE, oral route) configurations. It is manufactured without a Murphy eye to permit more distal cuff positioning and maintain a cuff‑free subglottic zone.
Key features
- High‑volume, low‑pressure cuff made from ultra‑thin polyurethane (~10 μm) to help achieve an effective seal at minimal cuff pressures and minimize folds/channels.
- Short, cylindrical cuff intended to inflate below the subglottic region.
- Black vocal cord placement marker positioned above the cuff to aid correct alignment between the cords.
- Four precision depth‑verification bands to help confirm optimal tube placement.
- Centimeter depth markings along the tube for tracking insertion depth.
- Continuous radiopaque line for X‑ray visualization.
- Sterile; natural rubber latex‑free.
