The MICROCUFF* Adult Endotracheal Tube by Avanos is a specialized medical device designed for effective airway management in adult patients. Suitable for both oral and nasal intubation, this tube features an Oral/Nasal Magill configuration with a Murphy Eye for enhanced safety.

• Advanced Cuff Design: The tube is equipped with a microthin polyurethane cuff membrane, only 13 microns thick, providing a superior tracheal seal at low cuff pressures. This design minimizes air leaks and reduces the risk of micro-aspiration of pharyngeal secretions, potentially lowering the incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) during prolonged ventilation.

• Enhanced Visualization: When deflated, the cuff allows greater visualization of the vocal cords, facilitating easier intubation.
