Description
The MIC-KEY Right-Angle Medication Extension Set from Avanos Medical is a short, right-angle extension designed for MIC-KEY low-profile gastrostomy (G), jejunal (J), and gastro-jejunal (GJ) feeding tubes. It features 2 in (5 cm) of tubing and a dedicated medication port to support accurate dosing and routine water flushes. Intended for enteral use only, it is also suitable for enteral nutrition delivery when connected to compatible ENFit devices.
Design and Connectivity
- Patient-end connector: SECUR-LOK right-angle, low-profile interface to the MIC-KEY button
- Proximal end: 2-port Y with ENFit connectors, including a dedicated medication port
- Tubing length: 2 in (5 cm)
- Clamp: Not included (medication set does not include a quick-release clamp)

- Ensure all SECUR-LOK and ENFit connections are fully engaged/locked during use
Use and Maintenance
- Non-sterile; single-patient use
- Not for resterilization
- Replace at least every 2 weeks per manufacturer guidance
- Follow facility protocols for cleaning, handling, and replacement
