Description
The Avanos MIC-KEY Low-Profile Jejunal (J) Feeding Tube is a button-style, skin-level device designed to deliver enteral nutrition and medications directly to the distal duodenum/proximal jejunum. It is intended for patients who cannot tolerate gastric feeding or who have impaired gastric emptying, severe gastroesophageal reflux, gastric outlet obstruction, aspiration risk, or who are post-esophagectomy/gastrectomy.

- Low-profile button with an external bolster for a discreet, skin-level profile
- Internal retention via an inflatable silicone balloon
- Clear, medical-grade silicone construction
- Single access port labeled “Jejunal”; no separate medication port
- ENFit-compatible connections via MIC-KEY ENFit extension sets; SECUR-LOK mechanism for secure attachment; detachable extensions allow the button to be concealed when not in use
- Trimmable distal tip to tailor distal length to clinical requirements
- Radiopaque stripe for imaging and centimeter markings to assist with external length verification
- Jejunal feeding only; no gastric decompression port

- Stoma length options (cm): 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.7, 2.0, 2.3, 2.5, 2.7, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5
- Jejunal length: 82 cm, measured from the distal aspect of the retention balloon to the tube tip; distal section may be clinician-trimmed to meet patient needs

- May be placed percutaneously under fluoroscopic or endoscopic guidance, surgically, or used as a replacement device via an established stoma tract
