Description

The MIC-KEY Low-Profile Jejunal (J) Feeding Tube from Avanos is a button-style enteral device engineered to deliver nutrition directly to the small intestine (distal duodenum/proximal jejunum). Sitting close to the skin with an external bolster and an internal inflatable balloon for retention, it provides a discreet, skin-level profile. A single access port labeled “Jejunal” supports jejunal feeding only.

Indications and Intended Use

• For patients who cannot tolerate or adequately absorb gastric feeding
• Appropriate in impaired gastric emptying, intestinal motility disorders, gastric outlet obstruction, severe GERD, aspiration risk, or post-esophagectomy/gastrectomy

• May be placed percutaneously under fluoroscopic or endoscopic guidance, surgically, or used as a replacement via an established stoma tract
• Connector options: ENFit versions (ENFit feed-set connector) and non-ENFit/legacy versions (Catheter Tip feed-set connector)
• Compatible MIC-KEY extension sets available in continuous or bolus styles (varies by kit)
