Description
A low-profile, button-style enteral device, the Avanos MIC-KEY Low-Profile Jejunal (J) Feeding Tube provides direct access to the jejunum for enteral nutrition and medication delivery when gastric feeding is not tolerated. Typical clinical scenarios include impaired gastric emptying, severe GERD, gastric outlet obstruction, aspiration risk, or post-esophagectomy/gastrectomy. Prescription use only (Rx).

- Low-profile external retention bolster with an inflatable internal retention balloon
- Trimmable distal tip to optimize jejunal positioning per clinical judgment
- Radiopaque stripe to aid placement verification under imaging
- Single access port labeled “Jejunal” (no separate medication port)
- SECUR-LOK mechanism for secure attachment of compatible extension sets
Connectors and compatibility
- Available in ENFit configurations; non-ENFit (catheter-tip) versions also offered
- Requires MIC-KEY extension sets to access the feeding valve
- Compatible with continuous or bolus MIC-KEY extension sets matched to the connector type

Placement and replacement
- May be placed percutaneously under fluoroscopic or endoscopic guidance
- May be used as a replacement device via an established stoma tract
- Follow the manufacturer’s Instructions for Use (IFU) and institutional protocols for selection, placement, and verification
