Overview

The Avanos Medical MIC-KEY Low-Profile Gastric-Jejunal (GJ) Feeding Tube Kit (ENFit) is a skin-level, low-profile enteral device designed for placement through a gastric stoma, with the distal limb positioned in the jejunum. It supports pediatric and adult patients who require simultaneous post-pyloric (jejunal) feeding and gastric decompression or venting via separate lumens.

• Provides jejunal feeding while allowing gastric venting/decompression through independent ports.

Ports and Access

• One-way anti-reflux valves in JEJUNAL and GASTRIC ports open when a MIC-KEY ENFit extension set is attached.
• No dedicated medication port; administer medications via the jejunal or gastric port as directed by the care team.

Connectivity and Kit Contents

• ENFit connectors for standardized enteral connectivity.
• Uses MIC-KEY ENFit extension sets; kit includes extensions suitable for continuous/pump and bolus feeding.

Sizes and Options

• Outer diameter (Fr): 14, 16, 18, 22.
• Jejunal limb lengths: 15, 22, 30, 45 cm (availability varies by tube diameter).
• Stoma length options: approximately 1.0–7.0 cm (availability varies by tube diameter).

Balloon Fill Guidance

• For 15, 22, or 30 cm jejunal lengths: recommended 3 mL (maximum 5 mL).
• For 45 cm jejunal length: recommended 7 mL (maximum 10 mL).
• Verify fill volumes per institutional protocol and device labeling.

Materials and Sterility
