The Avanos MIC-KEY Low-Profile Gastric-Jejunal (GJ) Feeding Tube is a skin-level, button-style device designed for patients who require simultaneous post-pyloric (jejunal) feeding and gastric decompression or venting. Placed through a gastric stoma, the distal limb resides in the jejunum to support enteral nutrition while the gastric lumen provides drainage.

- Low-profile external bolster for discreet, skin-level comfort.
- Internal inflatable silicone retention balloon for secure placement.

Ports and Flow
- Three clearly labeled ports:
- JEJUNAL: primary lumen for feeding.
- GASTRIC: for decompression/drainage via gravity or low intermittent suction.
- BAL: balloon inflation/deflation.
- JEJUNAL and GASTRIC ports feature one-way valves that open when a MIC-KEY extension set is attached.
- No dedicated medication port; medications may be administered via the jejunal or gastric port per clinical direction.
Visibility and Placement Aids
- Radiopaque weighted jejunal portion and a radiopaque stripe to facilitate catheter visualization.
Connectivity and Compatibility
- Accepts MIC-KEY extension sets using the SECUR-LOK connection.
- Available with ENFit feed-set connectivity; catheter-tip versions also offered.
- Extension set options support continuous or bolus feeding workflows.
Sizes and Options
- French sizes: 14, 16, 18, 22 Fr.
- Jejunal lengths (size-dependent): approximately 15, 22, 30, 45 cm.
- Stoma lengths: approximately 1.0–7.0 cm in defined increments.
Sterility and Use
- Sterile (gamma sterilized), single-use device; prescription only (Rx).
