Description

A low-profile, skin-level, balloon-retained, double-lumen gastric-jejunal feeding tube kit designed for pediatric and adult patients who require simultaneous post-pyloric (jejunal) feeding and gastric decompression/venting. Suitable for endoscopic or radiologic placement, and for use as an initial tube or as a replacement in an existing stoma tract.

Intended use

• Supports jejunal feeding while enabling gastric drainage/venting via separate lumens.

Design and placement

• Inserted through a gastric stoma with the distal limb positioned in the jejunum.
• Internal inflatable silicone retention balloon and an external low-profile bolster at skin level for secure, discrete placement.

Ports and functions

• JEJUNAL (J) port: One-way valve for feeding; opens when a MIC-KEY ENFit extension set is attached.
• GASTRIC (G) port: One-way valve for decompression/venting; suitable for gravity drainage or low intermittent suction; opens with MIC-KEY ENFit extension set.
• BAL port: For inflation/deflation of the retention balloon.
• No dedicated medication port; medications are administered via the J or G lumen per clinical direction.

Connectors and compatibility

• ENFit enteral-only connectors to help maintain enteral system integrity.
• Use MIC-KEY ENFit extension sets with SECUR-LOK style connectors; options for continuous/pump and bolus use.

Balloon inflation guidance

• Use sterile or distilled water.
• For 15, 22, or 30 cm J lengths: recommended 3 mL; maximum 5 mL.
• For 45 cm J length: recommended 7 mL; maximum 10 mL.
