Overview

The Avanos MIC-KEY Low-Profile Gastric-Jejunal (GJ) Feeding Tube Kit is a skin-level, double-lumen enteral device placed via a gastric stoma to enable simultaneous jejunal feeding and gastric decompression/venting for pediatric and adult patients.

Design and ports

• Internal inflatable balloon retention with a low-profile external bolster.
• Three labeled access points on the bolster:
• JEJUNAL: post-pyloric feeding to the jejunum.
• GASTRIC: drainage/decompression via low intermittent suction or gravity.
• BAL: balloon inflation/deflation.
• One-way valves in the JEJUNAL and GASTRIC ports open when a MIC-KEY Extension Set is attached.

Connectivity and extension sets

• Available in ENFit and non-ENFit configurations; ports are accessed using MIC-KEY Extension Sets.
• ENFit kits include MIC-KEY ENFit extension sets; non-ENFit uses a catheter-tip feed-set connector.

Measurement note

Jejunal length is measured from the distal aspect of the retention balloon to the catheter tip.
