Description

The Avanos MIC-KEY Low-Profile Balloon Gastrostomy Button is a skin-level, balloon-retained feeding tube that provides long-term enteral access to the stomach for pediatric and adult patients. It supports enteral nutrition, medication delivery, and gastric decompression. The low-profile “button” design helps reduce snagging under clothing and improves discretion during daily activities.

• Extension sets: locking patient-end, integrated clamp; typical length ≈12 in (≈30–30.5 cm) with some longer options
• Materials: PVC with citrate softener, ABS components, clamp typically polypropylene; DEHP-free; not made with natural rubber latex
• Non-sterile; reusable for single-patient use only; ENFit syringes connect directly to ENFit extension sets

Balloon inflation (use sterile or distilled water)

• 12 Fr: 3 mL recommended (maximum 5 mL)
• 14–24 Fr: 5 mL recommended (maximum 10 mL)
