What it is

A low-profile, skin-level gastrostomy feeding tube (“button”) with detachable extension sets designed for long-term enteral access. It supports delivery of nutrition, fluids, and medications, and can also be used for gastric decompression. Suitable for initial placement or as a replacement in a mature stoma tract.

Connectors and compatibility

• Safety ring on the patient-end helps reduce misconnections
• Extension sets are compatible with MIC-KEY Low-Profile G, J, and GJ tubes (this kit is the G-tube configuration)

Sizes and balloon fill volumes (G-tube)

• French sizes: 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24 Fr
• Stoma lengths: approximately 0.8–5.0 cm (availability varies by size)
• Balloon inflation with sterile or distilled water only:
• 12 Fr: recommended 3 mL; maximum 5 mL
• 14–24 Fr: recommended 5 mL; maximum 10 mL

Sterility and use

• G-tube: ETO-sterilized; single-use only (do not reuse or re-sterilize)
• Extension sets: non-sterile; reusable for a single patient only (not for multiple patients)
• Not made with natural rubber latex; DEHP-free

• Continuous Feed Extension Set, ~12 in/30 cm: right-angle SECUR-LOK patient-end; ENFit Y-connector with dedicated medication port; clamp; swivels to aid positioning
• Bolus Feed Extension Set, ~12 in/30 cm: straight SECUR-LOK patient-end; ENFit feed port; clamp
• 35 mL ENFit enteral syringe
• 6 mL luer-slip syringe for balloon inflation/deflation
• Gauze; insertion stylet and water-soluble lubricant (regional availability may vary)

Indications and contraindications (summary)
