Description
The Avanos MIC-KEY Low-Profile Balloon Gastrostomy Button is a skin-level, balloon-retained G‑tube designed for long-term enteral feeding, medication delivery, and gastric decompression in pediatric and adult patients. It may be placed percutaneously under fluoroscopic, laparoscopic, or endoscopic guidance, or used as a replacement device in an established stoma tract.
Key features
- Low-profile button design to reduce snagging and clothing interference.
- Internal inflatable retention balloon.
- Feeding port with anti‑reflux valve that remains closed when no extension set is attached and opens upon connection.
- ENFit connectivity; extension sets feature a right‑angle SECUR‑LOK attachment to help minimize leaks, accidental disconnects, and to protect the valve.
- Recessed distal tip and radiopaque stripe for visualization.
- High-clarity, medical-grade silicone construction.
- Sterile device; free of natural rubber latex. No jejunal port. Medication port present on the ENFit configuration.
