Description
Intended use and placement
A low-profile, balloon-retained gastrostomy button for long-term enteral feeding, gastric decompression, and direct medication delivery to the stomach in patients unable to tolerate oral intake and at low aspiration risk. Placement is percutaneous under fluoroscopic, laparoscopic, or endoscopic guidance and it may also be used as a replacement device via an established stoma tract. Pediatric through adult; prescription use only.
Key design and materials
- Skin-level, discreet button helps reduce interference with clothing.
- Inflatable internal retention balloon.
- Feeding-port anti-reflux valve remains closed when no extension is attached; opens when the extension is connected.
- High-clarity, medical-grade silicone for visibility and drapability.
- Radiopaque stripe and recessed distal tip for visualization and comfort.
- Natural rubber latex-free construction.
Connections and compatibility (ENFit)
- ENFit feeding-side connectors.
- SECUR-LOK right-angle patient-end connector designed to help protect the valve, reduce leakage, and minimize unintentional disconnects.
