Overview
The Avanos MIC-KEY Bolus Extension Set, Catheter Tip (Straight), is a single-port accessory designed for clinician-directed bolus delivery of nutrition, fluids, and medications through MIC-KEY low-profile enteral feeding tubes. It also supports venting as directed in both clinical and home care settings.
Compatibility and Fit
- For MIC-KEY low-profile Gastrostomy (G), Jejunal (J), and Gastro-Jejunal (GJ) feeding tubes
- Patient-end SECUR-LOK straight connector with safety ring engages the MIC-KEY feeding port and operates the anti-reflux valve
- Designed compatibility helps reduce leakage and helps prevent misconnections to IV lines
Connectors and Configuration
- Button side: SECUR-LOK straight connector (quarter-turn lock)
- Distal side: Catheter-tip bolus connector (non‑ENFit); not compatible with ENFit
- Single port configuration (no separate medication/flush port)
- Integrated tubing clamp for on/off flow control
- Straight orientation; right-angle versions are available as separate products

Care and Replacement
- After each use, wash with warm soapy water, flush/rinse promptly and thoroughly, and air-dry
- Store in a clean, dry place
- Replace approximately every two weeks to support hygiene and functionality

- Not compatible with ENFit connectors
- Use only with MIC-KEY low-profile enteral feeding tubes
