The Medicina Reusable Enteral Syringe, part of the LHE ENFit Range, is a versatile medical device designed for the precise delivery of enteral feeds, medicines, and flushes. Suitable for neonatal, paediatric, and adult patients, it is ideal for use in home settings, supporting bolus enteral tube feeding, water flushes, medication administration, and aspirating feeding tubes.

- ENFit Compatibility: Equipped with an ISO 80369-3 compliant ENFit connector, this syringe enhances patient safety by preventing misconnections with non-ENFit connectors such as intravenous or Luer types.
- Reusable Design: Engineered for repeated use, it can withstand up to 7 days or 40 washes, whichever comes first.
- Construction: Features a three-piece design comprising a barrel, plunger, and silicone gasket. The O-ring on the silicone gasket prevents swelling during cleaning, ensuring longevity.
- Measurement Accuracy: Clear measurement markings and a low dose tip available in 1ml and 2.5ml sizes provide improved dose accuracy.

Packaging and Availability
Each syringe is individually packaged, with available volumes of 1ml, 2.5ml, 5ml, 10ml, 20ml, and 60ml. Secure ENFit locking requires only a quarter turn to connect or disconnect, enhancing ease of use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
For optimal performance, the syringe and plunger should be separated and cleaned immediately after each use with warm soapy water. Rinsing under tap water and drying with disposable kitchen roll or air drying is recommended. It should be stored in a clean, dry, lidded container and not cleaned in a dishwasher. Cold sterilising solutions may be used if instructed.
Disposal Guidelines
The syringe should be discarded after 7 days of use or sooner if it becomes difficult to operate, markings become unclear, or if any damage is visible. Proper disposal in household rubbish is advised, and it should not be used if damaged or dropped.
Packaging Options
Available as individual units or in boxes with varying quantities depending on size, such as 30, 60, or 100 syringes per box. Compatible caps are available separately, providing flexibility in usage and storage.
