Built by Multigate Medical Products, it uses Protex4 barrier construction to deliver rapid fluid uptake and high absorption capacity while helping prevent fluid strikethrough and reduce bacterial transfer.
Construction and materials
Protex4 combines an absorbent top layer with an impervious bi‑laminate backing, complemented by an additional ultra‑reinforcement zone for targeted fluid control. The material is soft and pliable for easy positioning, yet strong and durable to withstand intraoperative demands. The drape is low‑lint and latex‑free to support patient and staff needs.
