Overview

Fortisip Multi Fibre by Nutricia is a ready-to-drink, high‑energy (1.5 kcal/ml), fibre‑enriched, nutritionally complete oral nutritional supplement (Food for Special Medical Purposes). It is suitable for oral use or administration via an enteral feeding tube. It may be used to supplement dietary intake or as a sole source of nutrition when medically indicated and under appropriate supervision.

MF6 fibre system

A patented blend of six soluble and insoluble fibres formulated to help maintain normal bowel function: soy polysaccharide, cellulose, resistant starch, gum arabic, oligofructose, and inulin.

Intended Use

For the dietary management of disease‑related malnutrition and for individuals with high energy requirements. May be used as a sole source of nutrition in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ANZ Food Standards Code 2.9.5), under medical supervision.

Directions and Storage

• Shake well; best served chilled
• Intake to be determined by a healthcare professional
• Store in a cool, dry place
• After opening, reseal, refrigerate, and use within 24 hours; discard any unused contents after 24 hours

Suitability and Restrictions

• Must be used under medical supervision; not for parenteral use
• Not suitable for patients requiring a fibre‑free diet, patients with galactosaemia, or individuals with cow’s milk protein allergy
• Not suitable for infants and children under 3 years; use with caution in children aged 3–6 years
