The Nutricia Flocare PUR ENFit Nasogastric Feeding Tube – 110 cm is designed for short‑term gastric feeding via the nasogastric route. Constructed from transparent medical‑grade polyurethane, it supports routine bedside verification and ongoing care with clear depth markings and full‑length radiopacity. The ENFit patient‑end connection aligns with contemporary enteral systems. A lubricated guidewire with a welded ball tip aids insertion while helping protect mucosal tissue.
Intended use
- Short‑term gastric feeding via the nasogastric route
- Maximum in‑situ duration: approximately 6–8 weeks (per local clinical guidance)

- 1 cm blue graduation markings for depth and position verification

Use and care
- Begin feeding only after confirming correct tube placement per local protocol
- Maintain hygiene and aseptic technique during handling
- Flush before and after feeds and medication administration (at least three times daily) to maintain patency
- Replace approximately every 6–8 weeks or as directed by local guidelines
- If respiratory distress occurs, stop feeding and seek urgent medical advice
Contraindications/precautions
- Do not use in patients with delayed gastric emptying and/or those at risk of aspiration
