Dosing Accuracy

Laboratory testing shows that the ENFit connector pair can displace an average of 0.148 mL of fluid, a consideration for neonatal and low-volume drug administration. For liquid doses under 2 mL, the dead space in the syringe tip may affect dosing accuracy, with oral syringes recommended for these cases.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Single-Use Syringes: Should be stored in a clean, dry environment and discarded after use.

• Reusable Syringes: Require immediate washing after use with warm soapy water, followed by rinsing and air drying. They should be stored in a clean, dry container with the plunger and barrel separated. Reusable syringes should be discarded after a maximum of 7 days or 40 washes, or sooner if damaged.

Handling Precautions
