Overview
Nutricia ENFit Enteral Syringes are designed for the delivery of enteral nutrition, water flushes, and medications through enteral feeding tubes, and can also be used to aspirate a feeding tube. Each syringe features a female ENFit connector compliant with ISO 80369-3, incorporating a screw-lock design to help prevent misconnections with IV/Luer devices. Available in 10 mL, 20 mL, and 60 mL sizes, with single-use and reusable (multi-use for a single patient) variants, these syringes are DEHP-free, latex-free, and PVC-free.

Directions for use

- Follow hygiene best practices. For reusable variants, flush/clean and reuse only as directed by a healthcare professional.
Cleaning (reusable syringes only)
- Clean promptly; do not allow contents to dry before washing.
- Disassemble (remove plunger) and wash components separately in warm, soapy water.
- Do not scrub components; rinse with cold water and allow to air dry.
- Do not dry with paper towels.
Storage and handling
- Single-use: Store in a clean, dry environment; discard after use per manufacturer instructions.
- Reusable: After washing and drying, store in a clean container with a lid between uses; discard per manufacturer instructions when no longer suitable.
Compatibility
- Connects to ENFit feeding tubes and medication ports.
- For non-ENFit systems, an appropriate transition adapter may be required per clinical guidance.
