Comfeel Plus is a versatile hydrocolloid dressing expertly crafted for effective moist wound healing. It is particularly beneficial for managing a variety of wounds, including chronic conditions like leg ulcers and pressure ulcers, as well as acute wounds such as superficial burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions.

Moisture Management

The dressing features a semi-permeable polyurethane top film that allows for moisture evaporation while providing a barrier against water and bacteria. This design helps maintain an optimal moisture balance by absorbing exudate and forming a cohesive gel.

Composition

Comfeel Plus is composed of sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles and calcium alginate, ensuring high absorption without the inclusion of pectin, latex, colophony, or animal derivatives.

Application Features

• Non-Touch System: A 3-piece non-touch application system with turquoise touch points for guided, aseptic application.

Indications for Use

Ideal for low to moderately exuding wounds, Comfeel Plus can rehydrate necrotic tissue to support autolysis. It is recommended to overlap the wound by approximately 2 cm for optimal adhesion and can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on wound characteristics.

The dressing is suitable for use under masks and goggles to protect skin at risk. Available in various sizes, it offers a discrete and comfortable solution for wound care.
