Chemists' Own Cold Sore Relief Cream is formulated to provide effective treatment for cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. Containing 5% w/w Aciclovir, this topical cream is designed for application at the first sign of symptoms such as tingling, itching, or burning on the lips and face.

Application Instructions

• Frequency: Apply a small amount to the affected area approximately every four hours, up to five times daily.
• Duration: Continue use for 5 to 7 days. If healing is not observed after 10 days, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
• Precautions: Ensure hands are washed before and after application. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes.

Important Warnings

• Do not use if the tube seal is broken.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Use individually to prevent cross-contamination; avoid sharing personal items like towels.
