Multigate’s Protex®4 Central Venous Catheter (CVC) Drape is a sterile, single‑use cardiovascular procedure drape designed to create and maintain a controlled sterile field during CVC insertion and other minor sterile field procedures. The large 180 cm × 250 cm blue drape provides broad coverage, while targeted reinforcement around the access site supports secure, tidy workflows.

• Adhesive round aperture, 12 cm diameter, for reliable placement at the insertion site.
• Tear‑line split to ease placement around lines, guidewires, and connectors, and to facilitate removal without device disturbance.
• Clear PE window/reinforcement, 45 cm × 45 cm, surrounding the aperture, with additional ultra‑reinforcement for strength and visibility.

Construction and Performance (Protex®4)

• Multilayer system: absorbent top layer, impervious bi‑laminate backing, plus an ultra‑reinforcement layer.
• High absorbency with rapid fluid uptake to help manage blood and irrigation fluids and keep the field orderly.
• Impervious barrier designed to prevent strikethrough and help eliminate bacterial transfer across the drape.
• Soft, pliable, strong, and durable to conform to patient contours and resist tearing during positioning.
• Low linting; latex‑free to support sensitive environments.
