Biatain Fiber with HexaLock Technology is an advanced wound care solution designed to address the needs of highly exuding, sloughy, and cavity wounds. This soft, sterile, primary dressing is crafted from non-woven sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) fibers, enhanced with bicomponent (BiCo) fibers, and reinforced with a thermobonded hexagon net for added durability.

Indications for Use

Biatain Fiber is suitable for a variety of wound types, including:

• Acute Wounds: Traumatic wounds, partial-thickness burns, donor sites, post-operative surgical wounds, and oncology wounds.
• Chronic Wounds: Diabetic ulcers, leg ulcers, and pressure ulcers.

Application Guidelines

• Primary Dressing: Intended for use as a primary wound dressing and should be covered with a secondary dressing, such as Biatain Silicone, for additional absorption.
• Duration: Can be left in place for up to seven days or until maximum absorption capacity is reached.
