Antimicrobial Protection
Each dressing is impregnated with chlorhexidine acetate at 0.5% w/w, offering robust antimicrobial action against a wide range of bacteria, including MRSA. This helps in reducing the risk of infection and promoting a safer healing environment.
Design and Material
- Low-Adherent Gauze: The open-weave gauze is designed to minimize adherence, reducing trauma and pain during dressing changes.
- Soft Paraffin Impregnation: Allows exudate to drain freely into a secondary absorbent dressing, maintaining a moist environment conducive to healing.
- Cotton Fabric: The gauze is made from a soft, open-weave cotton that retains its shape and resists fraying when cut.

Precautions
- Surface Area: Do not use on more than 10% of the body surface area.

- Avoidance: Keep away from eyes, middle ear, meninges, or brain.
