Intended Use
Ideal for use in dental practices, medical clinics, and surgery centers, the 3M™ Attest™ Mini Auto-reader 490M supports in-house sterilisation monitoring. It helps confirm that steriliser cycle parameters are met before releasing instruments for use, reducing the risk of patient exposure to contaminated tools.
Operation Overview
To operate, users assemble a Process Challenge Device with a biological indicator and chemical integrator, run the sterilisation cycle, and incubate the indicator in the auto-reader. The device displays remaining minutes and test results, with a negative (-) result indicating successful sterilisation and a positive (+) result indicating a need for reprocessing. A positive control biological indicator should be incubated daily in a control well.
Origin
Proudly made in the United States, the 3M™ Attest™ Mini Auto-reader 490M is a vital tool for ensuring effective sterilisation, supporting safer healthcare practices through precise and timely monitoring.
