The AMT MiniONE® Balloon Button is an innovative, low-profile gastrostomy tube designed by Applied Medical Technology (AMT) for effective long-term enteral feeding. Suitable for both pediatric and adult patients, this device facilitates medication administration, gastric venting, and decompression directly into the stomach through the abdominal wall. Its discreet design makes it ideal for use in both clinical and home-care settings.

• Internal Retention Balloon: The unique apple-shaped balloon provides a superior gastric seal, minimizing leaks and reducing granulation tissue. Made from high-grade medical silicone, the balloon is durable and adjustable for a custom fit.

• Connector Compatibility: Available with ENFit®, Legacy, and Hybrid connectors, the device ensures compatibility with a wide range of extension sets. The Glow Green™ feature enhances nighttime visibility with a glow-in-the-dark feed port and connector.

• Anti-Reflux Valve: A robust one-way valve prevents backflow, offering maximum protection. The tapered transition from shaft to external bolster ensures a secure fit and better external seal.

• French Sizes: Available in 12F, 14F, 16F, 18F, 20F, and 24F.
• Stoma Lengths: Ranges from 0.8 cm to 10.0 cm, varying by French size.
• Balloon Fill Volumes: Size-dependent, with recommended fill values printed on each device.

Maintenance and Handling

To maintain stoma health, the tube can be rotated 360° daily, starting 3–5 days after insertion unless otherwise directed. Balloon volume should be checked regularly, especially if leakage or looseness occurs. Protecting the device from excessive movement and managing skin irritation with barrier creams and dressings is recommended.

Extension Set Compatibility

The AMT MiniONE® Balloon Button is compatible with AMT MiniONE® extension sets in Legacy, ENFit®, and Hybrid configurations. It is not compatible with extension sets from other brands such as MIC-KEY™ or Nutriport™/Kangaroo™.

Additional Information

The device is made from medical-grade silicone to reduce skin irritation and improve patient comfort. It is sterile and intended for long-term use, with replacement as needed. Note that the device is non-returnable if the packaging is opened or the device is used, and some sizes may require special ordering.
