AQUACEL™ Ag+ EXTRA™ Dressing by ConvaTec is an advanced wound care solution designed for healthcare professionals managing moderate to heavily exuding wounds. This soft, sterile, non-woven dressing is particularly effective for wounds at risk of infection or those with suspected or confirmed biofilm presence.

Enhanced Strength and Absorbency: Constructed from two layers of sodium carboxymethylcellulose, the dressing is up to 9 times stronger and 50% more absorbent than standard AQUACEL® Ag dressings.

Indications
Suitable for a variety of wound types, including:
- Leg ulcers
- Diabetic foot ulcers

Application Guidelines
- Apply dry directly to the wound bed and cut to size if necessary.
- For shallow wounds, ensure at least a 1 cm overlap onto surrounding skin.
- For cavity wounds, use the ribbon format and pack appropriately.
- Requires a suitable secondary dressing.
Wear Time
The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days, or up to 14 days for partial thickness burns, depending on clinical assessment and exudate levels.
Storage
Store at temperatures between 10°C and 25°C. The dressing is intended for single use and is MRI safe.
