Maintenance and Care

Cleaning

• Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent with a clean cotton cloth.
• Rinse with sterile, distilled, or deionized water.
• Dry with an ultra-soft, low-lint cloth.

Avoid using microfiber cloths to protect the anti-reflective coating.

Disinfection

Compatible with high-level disinfectants such as CaviWipes and Tristel Duo OPH. Follow manufacturer guidelines for effective use.

Sterilization

Methods include:

• Ethylene Oxide (ETO)
• Steam
• Sterrad® and V-Pro® systems

Use Volk Sterilization Cases to prevent damage. Avoid sterilizing in black leatherette or clamshell cases.

Precautions

• Do not use alcohol, peroxide, or acetone on contact elements.
