Cleaning and Sterilization
For Volk lenses, proper cleaning involves using a low-foaming, neutral pH enzymatic cleaner. The lens should be wiped with a soft, lint-free cotton cloth and rinsed thoroughly. Sterilization is recommended using Ethylene Oxide (ETO), avoiding methods such as autoclaving, boiling, or using harsh chemicals like alcohol or acetone.
Handling Notes
Repeated reprocessing may cause cosmetic discoloration of the holding ring, though this does not affect the lens's functionality. Using a sterilization case or tray is advised to prevent damage or loss.
The 14D Lens stands out as a reliable and versatile instrument, enhancing the precision and effectiveness of ophthalmic examinations through its advanced design and robust specifications.
